Dr. Otake brings decades of medical and domain expertise in making technology applications relevant to a clinical setting. Dr. Otake is a pioneer in using technology to advance medical practice. He created and maintained for over a decade one of the longest running, non-profit telemedicine websites (www.wiredmd.com). He also has helped hundreds of children receive surgical care through his participation in the humanitarian projects of Interplast and Smile Train. Dr. Otake has published in prestigious medical journals and received both his Ph.D. and M.D. degrees from Yale University School of Medicine.
